Apple WWDC 2014 - what's new for mobile developers?
Few hours from now, 5000 developers will gather at the hall of the Moscone Center in San Francisco for the WorldWide Developers Conference (WWDC), a well-known annual event for the developers community, where Apple introduces its latest innovations in software and hardware.
Since 2003, the WWDC has been an opportunity for developers around the world to discover Apple's new products (iPhone, WWDC 2007) and the latest versions of Apple's operating systems (iOS 1.0 WWDC 2007 - iOS 2.0 WWDC 2008 - iOS 7.0 WWDC 2013)
WWDC 2014 - Healthy innovations
We think that Apple this time will shift to health applications with 2 major releases!
It's an app that monitors your health. It measures how many calories you have lost, the number of kilometers you have traveled, your blood pressure, hydration levels, heart rate, and more.
A smart watch that comes with the health-related mobile apps (eg. HealthBook), its advantage lies in the connectivity that it permits which makes health informations synchronised and updated.
One more thing - Mobile payments
Apple plans to introduce an integrated mobile payment system which allows iphone users to purchase not only songs, apps, games or e-books but also physical products like mobiles, PC's or TV's! To watch the WWDC 2014 live streaming, Apple has dedicated a special website to it!
Developers who have the chance to attend the WDDC will go away with loads of ideas to build great apps on iOS. Now, if they want to port those apps to other platforms, MyAppConverter is the way to go.
